The Following positions under World Bank assisted projects based in Delhi are to be filled up on purely temporary, ad-hoc and contractual basis, coterminus with the project:-
Post – 1: Project Manager – One – On a consolidated salary of Rs.40000/-p.m.
Qualification & Experience : M.D. or Ph.D in Science subjects, Research experience as Senior Scientist. Experience in management of Projects preferably Vector Borne Diseases/infectious diseases and Administrative experience of at least 10 years. Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job requirement: To coordinate between field sites and control room and also monitor the activities of the control room.
Post -2: Consultant- One – On a consolidated salary of Rs.30000/-p.m.
Qualification and experience : M.D. or Ph.D. in Life Science. 10 years experience in Molecular Biology/Bio-Chemistry/GCLP and other laboratory techniques. Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Job requirement : He will be a senior level laboratory person responsible for coordinating the activities at various levels like NIMR, NVBDCP, RRLs, SRLs and also the DMOs. He would also be involved in imparting training.
Age Limit: Up to 65 years for both the posts ((Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. orders/rules and also in deserving cases).
Duration : The initial engagement in the posts would be for one year but may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority.
Interested and eligible candidates may submit their applications together with their complete bio-data and photocopies of the testimonials to the Administrative Officer at the address given above by 28.08.2009. The original certificates will be required to be produced for verification at the time of interview, NOC is necessary in the case of persons serving in Central/State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/PSUs. No. TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
